I often argue it the other way though. It is the darkside that crystalizes.. works to preserve a certain order, a certain orthodoxy, works to escape death and destruction .. there by creating that death around its orbit point in order to preserve itself.. then the Jedi, the workers of the force must work to instill decay, must work to instill death back into the natural order of the universe, the seats of power must be shifted, orders must fall away, new one must rise, the currents must be running swiftly as possible. The darkside works to stagnate the waters, in fear of motion, death, change.

So too in our age, a hegemony of preservation has begun to crystalize and must be broken up before the system as a whole suffer the destruction of sever imbalance. Coorporations and genetic lines in power work to hold on to their security. Economies are conquered, harvested, and sucked of their fluidity and their fertility. Land is paved over. Those perceived as threats to the current power order are demonized and illiminated. And it is the publics' fear of destruction that allows them to be manipulated thus.
