Solar Bob told me about a coal burning power plant to be built in the Black Rock Desert.... yes the site of our lovefest Burning Man.
He said that the power would go to Yucca Moutain to build an underground city. A bit of searching found these links:

We should go off and build our own underground facility and do it *right.* Put all the posers to shame.
